An update...

So we had our official level two ultrasound or "anatomy scan" on tuesday, and everything looked great! There was NO doubt that we are having a little boy. We have a video that I will get uploaded sometime this week, Clyff and I have been working like crazy and haven't had a minute to do anything! I am now 20 weeks, half way through! Can't wait till June when we can meet this little guy, we are both getting a little impatient.

Starting a blog

After much blog stalking/reading, Clyff and I ( well mostly I) decided to start a blog to keep people updated on our new marriage and pregnancy. I guess I will start with telling everyone a little bit about us... Clyff and I met July 24th, 2010 at a get-together at his friends Spencer and Trevors house. We hit it off, and were soon together every day. Clyff asked me to "hook up" (for which I punched him for) a few days later. Of course he meant he wanted to officially start dating, I guess we both have different opinions on what that term means. On September 29th, 2010 Clyff and I both had the day off work and wanted to do something fun. We thought frightmares at lagoon sounded fun, but of course they were closed. My dad was living in Vegas at the time so we had the bright idea to drive down there, surprise and have dinner with him and then drive straight back. When down there, Clyff pulled into a wedding chappels parking lot and just casually said, "want to get married?" Not very romantic, but we had been talking alot about getting married so I was thrilled. Of course my initial reaction, was is this a joke? He assured me he wasn't joking so we went and obtained a marriage license and went across the street and got married. It all happened extremely fast, and I was very nervous at first. After it was all said and done, I was very happy! We then drove to my dads apartment, knocked on the door and showed him the marriage certificate. He was very, very surprised that we were even there but  shocked that we had just gotten married! I think it took him a while to warm up to the idea since it all happened so fast. Heck I was still getting used to it! He then called my mother and told her and we all went to a buffet at a casino. After dropping my dad back off at his apartment we stayed the night in mesquite and drove home the next morning so Clyff could make it to work at 4. As if getting married wasn't already enought to have happen at once, we found out we were pregnant a few weeks later. We were shocked, but that quickly wore off and turned into excitement. We found out a few weeks ago that we are having a baby BOY!!!!! He is due June 19th, 2011 and we are both very excited to meet the lil guy. That was the story of our past couple of months, I know alot has happened right? We should be on some sort of reality show or something. Anyways, we hope to keep this updated pretty regularly.
